This is a multi-media colour documentary about coloured people, for people of colour, by people from the cradle of mankind. Our aim is not to perpetuate, glorify or promote any stereotype. In truth our aim is to explore, decimate, discredit, debunk, rethink, understand and redefine coloured and people stereotypes in society. Stereotypes are nothing but ill-informed and fear-based perceptions.
Exploring and probing different aspects and questions about identity, culture, history, genetics and the future of coloured people is the order of the day. Narrow minded perceptions and views that borders on racism that reinforces stereotypes on the basis of exclusion has no place, no home here. Our responsibility as people is to ensure that intolerances, racisms, discriminations and determinisms become a footnote in the future history of man.
Us and them thinking, another way to phrase victim mentality, is the way of the past, we are about change and taking responsibility and accountability for ourselves and our people. We are all equal no matter the preconceived notions of race, ethnicity, creed, decree, nobility, caste, religion, dogma, politic or belief.

Excellent site!
I stumbled across this site by chance, but found it so well produced and insightful. Brilliant work-especially focusing identity formation within a broader context. I have one question though: Why are you talking about identity ‘crisis’ or (on the books section) on identity ‘problem’? IMHO the process of identity formation (in a post-colonial context) is complex, yes, for all and sundry- yet it is not constructed as a ‘problem’, as such. Would like to get your take….
Keep up this blog…I love it
I have been focusing upon coloured people in SA for many years. When I stumbled upon this site I realised again how crucial it is that we participate at this coordinated level. My sincerest appreciation for what you are doing. I have lots of ideas and processes to share.
Will spend more time on the site and share my comments.
This really great.
