Jerome Herman if you had lived in my era when the apartheid Group Areas was enforced, there were people like my grandparents, who were 'European/White' as from Europe with no interbreeding of any African Nationals, who had long standing establised businesness, family and friends in areas where they lived.
My grandparents had a long standing established small-holding farm in Crawford, and were told in no uncertain terms by the then National Afrikaner Party to either move out of that then declared Crawford 'Coloured Area' into a 'White Area', or they would be declared 'Coloured'.
My grandparents having no intention of relinquishing their property, livelihood and friends in that area at the wims of the Afrikaner National Party to begin all over again just to be registered 'White', found it ludicrous becuse all of our family then had white birth certificates. They refused point blank and accepted the label of 'Coloured'.
Now here is a kicker that occurred further down the track to get this all into perspective to show how stupid this colour problem was and still is in South Africa. This is well documented that because the Afrikaner National Party felt that they required more 'White' people to increase their population , they began canvassing those 'Whites' then classified as 'Coloureds' to be reclassified as 'Whites'.
Our families were part of that insidious plan but our answer was an adament NO!
This should clear up the misconception!

the black people who had an aryan baby in britain was a hoax. yes there are black ancestory in the afrikaner genome but today it is not worthwhile to mention. pleas educate yourself on the human genome project and results which are being surpressed but you can get info on a certain wiki - page

What about the intermarriage of the Khoi and San with other "black tribes" like the Zulus and it is aknowledged that many of the Xhosa people married with either Khoi or San, and I am sure muchh more undocumented inter marriages took place, that essentially make the majority in South Africa "coloured"

Pogus Caesar - Muzik Kinda Sweet at Birmingham Book Festival 2010

Foreword written by Paul Gilroy

Muzik Kinda Sweet is an evocative and nostalgic look at iconic Black performers from the last 25 years. Candid snaps on city streets contrast with the vibrant energy at stageside, revealing the personalities behind an influential generation of music heroes.
Birmingham based photographer Pogus Caesar worked up close to his subjects with an early model Canon Sureshot camera, developing by hand. The results are very human portraits which counterpoint today’s digital photography.

This highly collectable Limited Edition book includes stunning black and white photographs of Stevie Wonder, Grace Jones, Jay-Z, Cameo, Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown, Lynden David Hall, MC Hammer, Augustus Pablo and many more.

There is only one race in South Africa, also known as the Afrikaner volk and it is made up of people from Holland and and Indonesia , and other eastern colonies that the Dutch colonized,so it all started or began in 1652 when Jan Van Riebeck and his crew of sailors and their Indonesian wifes or bed sleepers landed on the shores of South Africa, and those that did not have a partner married into the local tribes that inhabited the Cape at the time ,and so was born the Afrikaner Volk.So the historical fact is that the so called wit Afrikaner and the so called Bruin mense of Bruin Afrikaners are in fact blood brothers and sisters, and that is historically true and no one can deny that
